about me

As a media artist and filmmaker based in Cologne, I combine various artistic disciplines in my work. My creations are showcased at both film festivals and in exhibition contexts.

After completing my diploma in Media Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in 2021, I was honored with the "SHOOT" Young Artist Award. My artistic development has been supported by a 6-month work scholarship for documentary film from the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Culture and Science, as well as participation in programs such as SHEROES and ESoDoc. I gained valuable experiences during artist residencies with the Goethe-Institut Estonia, Art Hall Tallinn, and No Drama Production in Poland.

My academic background includes a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Vienna, in addition to my media arts education. I am a member of the German Documentary Association (AG DOK) and work on TV productions for KIKA and 3Sat. Furthermore, I work as an audio description author and am a member of Hörfilm e.V.

Alongside my artistic work, I am involved in media education, conducting workshops for children and young adults in cooperation with various cultural institutions. My creative environment includes a shared studio in Cologne's Quartier am Hafen, where I work with four other artists.

Originally from Austria, I now live in Cologne with my husband, who is also a filmmaker, and our daughter.
